The town

This town consists of a primary residential area known as old Silent Hill, a business district primarily for the use of tourists known as Central Silent Hill, a resort area known as Silent Hill(resort area), a residential area mainly known as South vale and a large lake known as Lake Toluca. The movie places the town in West Virginia.

Portland, the town in which Harry and Heather live in for twelve years prior to the events of Silent Hill 3.

Ashfield, a neighboring town in which Silent Hill: The Room takes place.

Brahms, a town in which Cybil Bennett lived and worked there. Its location was only referred to in the game but it can be seen in the film.

Pleasant river, a town in which Walter Sullivan lived and studied before his killing spree.

Portland, a town in which Harry and Heather lived in for five years after the events of Silent Hill.

Shepherd's Glenn, the town in which Silent Hill 5 takes place.
