Midwich Elementary School is the school Alessa Gillespie attends as a child and is run by Christabella. The janitor also works there and the school appears to be controlled by the cult. Alessa is teased and abused there on a daily basis and is eventually sexually assaulted by the janitor. Rose Da Silva travels there to find her missing child Sharon and Christopher Da Silva goes there to find Rose. Midwich is seen in four realms in the movie:

• the dark world
• the foggy world
• the regular world
• thirty years in the past

Game Version

Midwich Elementary School was attended by both Alessa Gillespie and Lisa Garland. It is located on the South West side of Old Silent Hill, on Midwich Street. The school is only visited in the first game, although Heather Mason visits Alessa's old classroom in the final stages of Silent Hill 3.
