Flashlight

Location: On the counter in the Café.

Purpose: Self explanatory, provides light in dark areas. Although if left switched off you can sneak past enemies undetected. Can be switched on and off by pressing circle button.

Radio

Location: On the table in the Café.

Purpose: Helps detect enemies by emitting static whenever a monster is nearby.

Health Drink

Location: Can be found scattered all over Silent Hill.

Purpose: Will recover minor or medium injuries, takes three to recover from major injury.

First Aid Kit

Location: Although not rare, these kits are harder to come by than the Health Drinks. Try to conserve them wherever you can.

Purpose: A first aid kit will completely recover any damage, even when in red.

Ampoule

Location: This can only be found in a few locations.

Purpose: An ampoule will make you impervious to any damage, its effects are only temporary though.

Handgun Bullets

Location: Found in most places through out Silent Hill.

Purpose: Use with your handgun. The handgun can hold fiftheen bullets, so you will not need to worry about re-loading to often.

Shotgun Shells

Location: Although not rare, shotgun shells are herder to locate than handgun bullets. Try not to waste them.

Purpose: To be used with the shotgun. The shotgun can hold up to six cartridges. Remember to re-load as often as possible so you don't get caught by enemies when you run out of bullets.

Rifle Bullets

Location: Rarely found, only located in limited areas.

Purpose: Used with the hunting rifle found in the mall. The rifle can hold six bullets in total. Due to the nature of its design, the rifle is very slow at re-loading so always get in a safe place before doing so.

'To School'

Location: End of Alleyway you chase Cheryl down, off Finney Street, Old Silent Hill.

Purpose: Tells you to go to Midwich Elementary School.

'Doghouse' and 'Levin Street'

Location: Found in most places through out Silent Hill.

Purpose: Use with your handgun. The handgun can hold fiftheen bullets, so you will not need to worry about re-loading to often.

Receipt

Location: Inside the envelope Dr. Kaufmann dropped in Annie's Bar after his Mumbler attack, Silent Hill Resort Area.

Purpose: Gives you the combination for the lock on the front door of Indian Runner.
